X-Play & LA Direct Models Make Donations to Henri Pachard Cancer Fight

(Hollywood, CA) Following up on their pledge to donate a portion of June DVD sales of Not the Bradys XXX, X-Play has sent a check for one thousand dollars to Ron Sullivan best known as Henri Pachard in an effort to help his fight against cancer. Joining in the effort was LA Direct Models which also contributed a check.

When we first heard about Rons struggle there was only one decision to make and we wanted to help out in any way we could as he is truly an adult industry pioneer, stated X-Play/All Media Play president Jeff Mullen. Over the years each time I would bump into him, he always had a smile on his face and kind words for me.

LA Direct Models owner Derek Hay was quick to contribute a five hundred dollar check and said, Ron is a gentleman of the first order, there are far too few of his ilk remaining in our business, an example and role model for all. We have learned much from him, and feel indebted as a result. We are pleased to help where we can.

Pachard became an adult movie pioneer a few decades ago and has been an inspiration for many in the business that cant remember a time when shooting porn in Los Angeles was illegal.

He was here long before any of us even thought about starting our companies, stated Scott David co-producer of Not the Bradys XXX. Were happy to be in a position to help out a bit. With a full slate of X-Play television and celebrity parodies including Not Bewitched XXX set for a September release and a sequel to their hugely popular Not the Bradys XXX due in November, the Hollywood based production company is among the busiest and most enterprising studios in town.

We make movies that appeal to us from a creative standpoint, stated X-Play/All Media Play president Jeff Mullen. Then we determine if there is a commercial market for the project and execute an appropriate marketing campaign and so far weve been able to connect to a sizable audience.

Creating a porn spoof of the Brady Bunch was a no-brainer for X-Play as the light-hearted parody starring Sexz.com star Hillary Scott received tremendous exposure from a wide variety of national news and entertainment shows helping to make it one of the biggest selling adult movies in recent history. Not the Bradys XXX Director Meets Brady Bunchs Schwartz

(Hollywood, CA) They say that fate often brings people together but it was a new musical that led to a chance meeting between the director of Not the Bradys XXX and a member of the legendary Sherwood Schwartz family.

Will Ryder was in the audience at A Very Brady Musical being performed live on stage at Theatre West in Los Angeles when he spotted Lloyd J. Schwartz in attendance. Schwartz, the musicals writer and director is also the son of legendary Brady Bunch creator Sherwood Schwartz and was an acting coach on the popular television series back in the 1970s.

Im a huge fan of the Brady Bunch and I took a date to see this incredibly funny musical, Ryder said. After the performance, I had a chance to meet Mr. Schwartz in the lobby and he was quite pleasant and fun to talk to.

When asked if the topic of the Bradys porn spoof was brought up, Ryder was a bit hesitant but offered. You know I wasnt sure if I should, but I knew that if I did go there, I wanted to really ease into the subject nice and smooth if that was possible. I figured he must have heard about it and I was quite curious.

Just as Ryder suspected, Schwartz had seen the tabloid news reports on TV but didnt seem to object too much although he was clearly uncomfortable with the topic of porn according to Ryder.

I really wasnt intending on bringing it up but his portrayal of the Brady Bunch live on stage was filled with sexual innuendo and a fabulous sense of humor that really took the Bradys to places youd never dream of seeing on TV including Marcia getting arrested for being a hooker, Ryder laughed.

Plus theres a scene where Greg buys a car adorned with wood paneling and his brothers and sisters join him in song singing Ive got a woody .. Hes got a woody. That was funny as hell.

Since many adult industry members are quite comfortable discussing sexual topics in public, it is often forgotten that the real world only broaches those subjects and usually from afar.

He made a comment to me that solidified what some in the real world still think about our business when he said he didnt really have a problem as long as no girls were forced into performing in the movie. That really blew my mind and I assured him that nobody was forced.

Ryder told Schwartz that each girl willingly appeared in the movie and when asked how he knew, he confessed that he was the director.

That was the bombshell that ended the conversation as he politely told me thanks for coming and quickly left me standing there with my date who ironically is a Not the Bradys XXX cast member but I didnt dare mention that.

When asked if A Very Brady Musical is worth seeing Ryder gushed. This is a great musical for anybody that wants to laugh, enjoy some really wonderful music and just witness some goofy fun being poked at the Brady Bunch. I highly recommend getting tickets to see this before it moves on to a different city. There is no association between A Very Brady Musical and Not the Bradys XXX, Ryder was clear to point out.

Sales of the porn spoof have been brisk ever since the DVD was released this past fall from X-Play/Hustler. Customers walk into stores all over America asking for that Brady Bunch porno which has kept the movie a top seller. Some stores cant keep it on the shelves longer than a few days because when they see the design they smile and buy it. Plus its a top-selling VOD title for Hot Movies.com also.

First up was a funny dialogue session between Darren Stevens played by Mike Horner and James Bartholet as gray haired, cigarette smoking boss Larry Tate. The two men took to the task as if they were making a Hollywood sitcom working off of each other like seasoned veterans hitting their marks and delivering perfect banter.

Oh my god, its just like the TV show, stated Jenna Haze as she grabbed a seat behind a video monitor to watch the action. This office scene is great and they really look like the characters. Its amazing, the veteran award-winning performer said before going into makeup to play Samantha.

The 2008 AVN Female Performer of the Year Sasha Grey had never worked with X-Play before and seemed enthusiastic to be on the set with the producers of the smash hit Not the Bradys XXX. This looks like it will be a lot of fun, she said as she made her way towards a make-up room that was bustling with activity.

Soon Sasha, wearing an early 1960s era bright orange dress with white go-go boots was getting fucked on top of that same desk as part of a scene where she plays a model signed by the agency to help deliver the latest advertising campaign. Left alone in the office with a hunky male model, the two undress each other in an attempt to get off before Darren & Larry return from lunch.

Haze entered the scene in order to execute some dialogue sequences that had her popping into the office and quickly popping out. Darren in an attempt to kiss her goodbye before Larry discovers her falls flat onto his desk once she disappears into thin air.

Later it was Ron Jeremys turn to play the comical role of Dr. Bombay, a horny and free-spirited world traveler that always seems to find himself in the middle of wild situations. This time the action takes him to a friend-finder convention in the Sahara Desert that pops him right into the middle of an eight girl orgy that takes place in an elaborate massive tent-like area that the producers called the Ali Baba room.

Joining superstars Aurora Snow and Sunny Lane in the decadent orgy display is a gaggle of new faces among them Daisy Layne, Kandice Nicole, Kelly Skyline, Winter Sky and Madison Ivy. It was blond cutie Ivy that was particularly dirty when she lined up all the girls in a row and proceeded to taste everyone of them in the most intimate of ways.

Now thats what I call entertainment, barked James Bartholet who remained on the set to watch the incredible action long after his stage time was over.

Michelle Avanti plays the pestering neighbor Gladys Kravitz and upon first reading the script and watching a DVD of the original series in the Hollywood offices of X-Play, the first year actress responded, Wow, that Gladys is such a whack job, prompting co-producer Scott David to comment, another fine casting job.

Not Bewitched XXX already has the vibe of a major blockbuster and will be in stores in August.

Not the Bradys XXX & Will Ryder Love The XRCO Awards

(Hollywood, CA) I was really surprised when I received an XRCO Award nomination for Best Director, stated Will Ryder when interviewed on the set of Not Bewitched XXX in Los Angeles. This is quite an honor, especially when you consider a few of the big names that didnt make the list.

With a list of five nominated directors that includes legends John Stagliano and Paul Thomas, along with directors Brad Armstrong and Stormy Daniels, Ryder is in fine company as he looks forward to the Hollywood XRCO ceremony that will take place at The Highlands April 30th.

The XRCO Awards party is always one of my favorite nights of the year because all the fun people are there all packed like sardines at the bar having a really good time, Ryder said.

Not the Bradys XXX received nominations as Best Comedy/Parody and Most Outrageous DVD Extras. Other Bradys XXX cast members earning XRCO nominations are Paulina James for New Starlet, Hillary Scott for Female Performer of the Year and Orgasmic Analist, Mikey Butders for New Stud and Alana Evans for Milf of the Year.
